​Alqueeah Cates believes every event in live deserves to be celebrated!  Her flare for modern and traditional designs propelled her into starting her company in 2003.  She started ARC Weddings & Events after several years of planning events in the industry.  Her passion for event planning and being an entrepreneur has always been in her blood.  It excited her to create events that touch the core of people as they celebrate special moments.
​When Alqueeah is not planning an event or building relationships with her team of vendors.  She volunteers her time at her church, local and national non-profit organizations, spends time with her loving husband Keith and two FABULOUS daughters.  She loves to travel and adores her new addition to her family Brooklyn the Boxer.
